Joe and Andrew Reminisce About How
They Started Out...
We started ProVyro right here in the Chippewa Valley in 2010 after graduating from
UW – Eau Claire. We wanted to provide a higher level of customer service and satisfaction within the waste services industry at more affordable prices and with local flexibility. We actually started offering roll-off services, but later moved into residential garbage service.
Today, we offer residential garbage and recycling services to Eau Claire, Altoona, Chippewa Falls, and the townships of Lake Hallie, Lafeyette, and Washington.
Joe Craven: Co-Owner
Originally from Fairmont, MN, Joe grew up starting businesses as a young child. His first business venture involved selling sweetcorn on the corner of his local neighborhood. Later on, he began a small company called Joe’s Jigs. He would melt, create, and paint fishing jigs, and then sell them on Ebay. Lastly, he began Joe’s Coins. He would purchase large quantities of rare, collectible coins and sell them on Ebay.
Flash forward to 2009.
Joe graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a minor in Finance. At the University, while participating in an Investment Management Program, Joe met Andrew, and they decided to pursue their own business. In 2010, they founded ProVyro Waste Services, LLC. Throughout college and during the interim between college and starting ProVyro, Joe was a professional pilot for Heartland Aviation, where he flew private charter planes and taught others how to fly as a flight instructor.
Today, Joe manages and runs the daily operations of ProVyro Waste Services.
Andrew Holland: Co-Owner
Born and raised in Eau Claire, WI, Andrew grew up on a small hobby farm. Wanting to have his own “share” of the farm, when he was seven years old, Andrew asked for a cow for Christmas and got it. It was from this cow and the other farm chores that Andrew developed a strong work ethic and a desire to someday own a small business.
In 2009, Andrew graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Business Economics with a minor in Spanish. Right out of college, he moved to the Twin Cities where he was an Auditor with Ernst and Young. While there, he and Joe began to develop the operations for ProVyro Waste Services, LLC. Upon starting the company, Andrew moved back to Eau Claire.
Today, Andrew provides all of the accounting and financial services for ProVyro Waste Services, as well as helping with the daily operations.
